R’ Yosef Chaim Shlomo Meyerson, a Lubavitcher Sofer and Mohel in Yerushalayim, passed away on Shabbos, after complications due to coronavirus.
R’ Yosef Chaim Shlomo Meyerson, a Lubavitcher Sofer and Mohel in Neve Yaakov, Yerushalayim, passed away on Shabbos, 26 Tishrei, 5782.
He was 45 years old and passed away from complications due to coronavirus.
In the 1990s, he studied at a Chabad yeshiva that opened at the Marina Roshcha Shul in Moscow. After moving to Eretz Yisroel, he was certified to be a softer and mohel, and served as a mohel at the Bris Yosef Yitzchak organization for several years.
About a decade ago, he underwent a kidney transplant in the United States with the help of the Ahavat Chesed organization of the late Rabbi Avraham Lider.
He is survived by his wife, son and mother, who reside in Neve Ya’akov, Israel.
