R’ Shimon Ohana, AH

R’ Shimon Ohana, a founder of the Rashbi Shul in Kfar Chabad, and the father of Menachem Ohana and Nissim Ohana of Brooklyn, passed away.

R’ Shimon Ohana, who was one of the founders of the Rashbi Shul in Kfar Chabad for Moroccan Immigrants, passed away on Sunday, 14 Iyar, 5782.

He devoted his life to the study of Torah and the education of the children at the Chabad Yeshiva in Casablanca, Morocco, and later Yeshivos in Israel.

He is survived by his wife Simcha and children Gershom Ohana – Kfar Chabad, Menachem Ohana – Crown Heights, Yonatan Ohana – Kfar Chabad, Nissim Ohana – Flatbush, Chananya Ohana – Tal Menashe, David Ohana – Kfar Chabad, Dina Ohana – Kfar Chabad, and grandchildren.

The levaya will be held Sunday in Kfar Chabad.
