Reb Mordechai (Motty) Kopman a Lubavitcher husband and father living in Buffalo, NY, passed away today, Yud Ches Nissan.
Motty has been battling a terrible illness for a long time, and ultimately passed away from a Coronavirus infection he contracted while undergoing treatment for his illness.
He was 34 years old.
Motty was raised in Har-Nof, Yerushalayim and was educated in the Lubavitcher yeshivos there. He originally came to Buffalo close to a decade ago, to do shlichus in the newly established anash community there, as well as to work in the real estate market there. He was loved by all there and his passing comes as a great shock.
He leaves behind his wife Chanie (nee Litzman) and five young children.
He is also survived by his parents R’ Moshe and Gila Kopman of Har-Nof, Yerushalayim and siblings: Rabbi Yitzchok Kopman – Grodno, Belarus; Esthy Cohen – Florida; Yael Schneider – Beitar Illit; Brochy Ehrentrau – Lod; Yossi Kopman – Buffalo; Devorah Leah Kaduri – Buffalo; Mendel Kopman – Buffalo.
