R’ Yehudah Dov (Leibish) Greenbaum, a member of the Chabad community in North Miami Beach, Florida, passed away on Monday, 4 Elul.

R’ Yehudah Dov (Leibish) Greenbaum, a member of the Chabad community in North Miami Beach, Florida, passed away on Monday, 4 Elul, 5780.

He was 63 years old.

Leibish was born to his parents Tzvi Menachem, who known as ‘Mendel Der Suldat’, and Sima Leah Greenbaum. He grew up in the Boro Park neighborhood of Brooklyn.

He lived in Kfar Tapuach, Eretz Yisroel, for a period of time, before moving to North Miami Beach, Florida, where he was an active member of the Chabad community.

He is survived by his wife Sara, and their children Zevi Greenbaum (North Miami Beach, FL), Devorah Perel Manzorlahagh (Queens, NY), Estee Levine (Crown Heights), Rochie Gutlaizer (Crown Heights), and Miriam Bayzman (Crown Heights).

He is also survived by his siblings; Yossie Greenbaum (Crown Heights), Shlomie Greenbaum (Miami, Florida), Baila Rochel Eckhaus (Pomona, NY), Perel Rivkah Rubin (North Miami Beach, Florida).

The levaya will take place on Wednesday at 3:30 PM at Montefiore Cemetery  in Cambria Heights.

His wife and children will be sitting Shiva at
