R’ Gedalya Schmalberg, a longtime Crown Heights resident, passed away on Wednesday, Shvi’i shel Pesach, 21 Nissan, 5780.
He was 64 and had been fighting the coronavirus.
R’ Gedalya, a beloved husband and father, was an alumnus of Tiferes Bachurim in Morristown. In Crown Heights he had davened at Rabbi Shain’s shul.
For decades he was a successful computer network engineer.
He is survived by his wife, Aliza Chana Schmalberg, and children, Yisroel Schmalberg, Avraham Meir Schmalberg, Miriam Baum, Aharon Elazar Schmalberg, Chaim Yaacov Schmalberg, Yosef Schmalberg and Tzvi Schmalberg – Crown Heights.
