R’ Binyamin Don Goldman, of Long Beach, NY, who was instrumental in the founding and development of Chabad of Nassau County, passed away on Thursday, 18 Iyar – Lag B’Omer, 5782.
He was 85 years old.
A mushpa of the Rebbe’s secretary R’ Nissan Mindel, R’ Binyomin Don he was instrumental in the founding and development of Chabad of Nassau County. He was also active in tzorchei tzibbur and organizing minyanim in his local community Shul.
He is survived by his wife Judy (Yehudis) and children Leah Rubashkin – Jackson, NJ; Malkie Travitz – Melbourne, Australia; Duvie Goldman – Los Angeles CA; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The levaya will take place at 1:30 PM on Sunday at Mount Ararat Cemetery
