R’ Betzalel Malasky, 87, AH

R’ Betzalel Malasky, a longtime Crown Heights resident known for his humility and Yiras Shamayim, passed away today, 9 Kislev. His levaya will pass by 770 at 2:00 pm.

He was 87.

R’ Betzalel moved to Crown Heights in the late 1960s after completing his studies in science and serving in the U.S. Military during his time in Korea. Upon joining the community, he dedicated himself to learning in Hadar Hatorah and Yeshiva Derech Chaim.

He was a devoted husband and father, raising his family in the Rebbe’s shchuna with a foundation of Torah and Yiras Shamayim. R’ Betzalel was admired for his humility, sincerity, and integrity, serving as an example of a true chassidishe Yid.

His levaya will pass by 770 at 2:00 pm today.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Esther Malasky, and their daughters: Mrs. Rivkie Groyer, Mrs. Nechamie Srugo, Mrs. Sara Avrashmi, and Mrs. Chani Antian, as well as many grandchildren.
