The Jewish community of Pittsburgh gathered on Motzei Shabbos for an evening of Torah, tefillah and song in memory of the eleven kedoshim of the Tree of Life massacre, on their third yartzeit.
The event was arranged by the Vaad Harabbonim of Pittsburgh, together with the local chevra kadisha, the Gesher Hachaim Burial Society and united all segments of the frum community.
The program began with mishnayos taught by community rabbonim, followed by maariv which was led by Rabbi Yossi Rosenbloom, head of the Yeshiva Boys School.
Rabbi Daniel Wasserman, head of the chevra kadisha and rabbi of the Shaare Torah Congregation, led a musical havdalah and kumsitz.
The gathering was held at Hillel Academy, a local community day school.
