A select group from Pittsburgh, PA made a visit to the Rebbe and Crown Heights on Erev Gimmel Tammuz. The group was from the newer Greenfield community in Pittsburgh and the greater Pittsburgh community.
Men, women, and children of all ages and backgrounds made a 24-hour whirlwind trip designed to live and experience places that form the foundations of Lubavitch. Parents brought their children, to see, hear and learn, to be inspired in the ways of the Rebbe.
The first stop the group made was to the Ohel, where they davened and spent some time. After a wholesome breakfast, the group continued to the Rebbe’s Library, WLCC, and the Rebbe’s Room, before culminating their visit at the Rebbe’s Home on President Street.
The trip was organized by Rabbi Elchonon Friedman and Rabbi Eli Wilansky of Bnai Emunoh-Chabad. After an inspiring day, the group returned to Pittsburgh deeply touched by their experiences and joined the thousands of chassidim over generations who traveled to visit their Rebbe and gain kochos for their lives back home.
Special Thanks to Chaim Halberstam and Mendel Eisenbach for arranging the tours at WLCC and Rebbe’s Room.
