Pesach Chef Waits 8 Days for Bar Mitzvah

Alex, the Chef at ‘Royal Passover’ Pesach Program in Cancun had never put on Tefillin before, but he had to wait 8 days to finally celebrate his Bar Mitzvah.

When Yossi Farro, discovered that one of the chefs at the Chef at ‘Royal Passover’ Pesach Program in Cancun was Jewish, he knew what he had to do.

Alex, a young chef originally from Mexico City, had never put on Tefillin before today despite being over 30 years old.

Early this morning, after waiting for 8 days, Yossi helped Alex put on Tefillin for the first time celebrating his Bar Mitzvah today on Isru Chag Pesach.
