Perfection is Serving Hashem With Mind, Body, and Heart

In preparation for Gimmel Tammuz, we present you each day with a unique short quote from the Rebbe. Prepared by Rabbi Pesach Schmerling, shliach in Far Rockaway, NY.

There are three outlooks regarding life: 1) Only follow one’s head – his ‘cold’ logic and intellect. 2) Consider only the heart – warm, emotional attitude. 3) It isn’t so important what one thinks or feels, the main thing is action, to behave properly.

Torah dictates to strive to be perfect. A wholesome person endeavors to achieve complete harmony between his mind, heart and hand (symbol for action), that they conduct themselves in unison according to Hashem’s directives.
