Having to cancel their annual Chanukah Party due to COVID-19 precautions, children of OK Kosher employees were thrilled to receive Party in a Bag packages to treat the entire family.
The children of OK Kosher staff members wait with excitement for the grand OK Kids’ Chanukah Party each year. Due to COVID-19 safety precautions, the OK was unable to host an in-person gathering for the 140 (KA”H) children of their employees. They couldn’t let them down, instead, each family received a Party in a Bag to take home!
“For weeks leading up to Chanukah, we searched for family-friendly games and crafts to appeal to a wide range of ages – from 3-year-olds to teens – to keep the kids entertained over Chanukah,” shared Dina Fraenkel, who helped arrange this project. “Working at the OK is not just about the 9-5 workday,” Dina continued, “they value their employees and their families and love to do special things to show appreciation.”
Bags included KosherKits sensory playdough kits (@kosherkits on Instagram), custom made OK cookies by Sara Fogelman, baking kits, puzzles, canvas painting kits, sweet treats, and games. A special custom-made iKippah mask with the OK logo was included for each child as well. The children are already enjoying their goodies!
