The Twofold Blessing

Addressing his son Yaakov, he said: “And may Hashem give you from the dew of the heavens and the fat of the earth.” Quoting the words “And may Hashem give you,” Rashi explains, “He will give, and give again.” 

But why would Hashem need to give something twice? If He gives a blessing, it surely does not lack anything. Why the need to give a second time?
