Over 250 Join Siyum Dedicated in Memory of Rabbi Wilschanski

Bochurim, Shluchim, and Anash of Morristown, NJ joined together for a moving siyum Harambam gathering in memory of the late Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Zalman Wilschansky.

This past Sunday in Morristown NJ, the community, yeshivas and shluchim of Morristown and neighboring cities came together for the completion of the 43rd cycle of Rambam marking 40 years to the Takonah of Limud HaRambam.

The event was in L’ilui Nishmas Rabbi Zalman Wilschanski A”H who served as MC and organizer of the Siyum Harambam in Morristown for many years.

The event was held in the Rabbinical College of America, joined by over 250 people – Bochurim, Shluchim and Anash of Morristown.

Tzemach Shemtov was honored with being the MC of the event.

The Siyum was made by Rabbi Yakkov Wagner and the Haschala by Rabbi Sholom Spalter.

After which Rabbi Chaim Schapiro spoke some words about his memories of when the takanah started and also said a few words about Rabbi wilschanski.

Thanks is given to the organizers of the event, Sholom Deren and Mendel Susskind, as well as Moshe Kaplan and Mendel Cadaner for working on the beautiful Memento Teshurah for the event. And to Beni Rosenbaum for the lively music.

In addition, thanks is given to Rabbi Chaim Schapiro, Menahel of Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim, Morristown for sub-heading the event.

The event is coordinated by the Hakhel Office of Morristown.
