The CKids Camp Directory has officially launched for its third year, giving Gan Yisroel day camp directors and counselors an easy, centralized way to connect and plan for a successful summer.
Since going live, the site has already seen nearly 900 users, and more than 100 camps are now listed, making it one of the most comprehensive resources for staffing and summer planning in the CGI community.
The platform, led by Rabbi Sholom Block, Shliach in Plano, Texas, provides a structured and clear way for camps to list key information, such as camp dates, age groups, accommodations, and transportation options, making it easier for counselors to find the right fit.
“Our goal at CKids is to create solutions that save Shluchim time and energy,” said Rabbi Zalmy Loewenthal, Director of CKids International at Merkos 302. “The Camp Directory makes it simple for camps to connect with dedicated staff, and for counselors to secure meaningful Shlichus opportunities.”
“Summer camp can have a huge positive impact on a child, as the Rebbe often emphasized,” said Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, Executive Director of Merkos 302. “By helping camps find the proper staff efficiently, we’re enabling Shluchim to focus on what truly matters, the campers and their experience.”
The live directory now offers counselors a straightforward way to find the right camp. Being a counselor is a chance to inspire the next generation, shape the future of Jewish life, and bring the Rebbe’s vision to reality. By thoughtfully connecting camps with the right staff, the CKids Camp Directory lays the foundation for a summer that is both successful and profoundly impactful.
