A special meeting and dinner took place last night at the home of Or Hachasidus longtime supporter and friend Ari Sperlin for a group of Bochurim who will be spearheading a traveling Seforim Sale on Yud Tes Kislev. They will dedicate hundreds of hours to bring the teachings of Chassidus to the local communities in neighborhoods around the Greater New York Area area.
This annual sale takes place in nearly all the frum neighborhoods where people eagerly await the unique prices for the Alter Rebbe’s Seforim offered only once a year. These include Williamsburg, Boro Park, Monsey, Kiyas Yoel and Monroe.
Rabbi Avraham Mann, the founder of Or Hachasidus, passionately addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of disseminating Chassidus to the widest possible audience. During the course of the evening, he provided a comprehensive walkthrough on the steps required to set up the Seforim stands and process transactions, utilizing the new and improved iPad terminals.
This year, Or Hachasidus has introduced two Seforim trucks transformed into mobile stores, significantly expanding the selection of Sifrei Chasidus. In contrast to previous years when only 20 seforim titles were offered, this innovation allows the organization to add hundreds of titles to their selection.
In the weeks leading up to Yud Tes Kislev OrHachasidus took out full page ads in the various magazines and publications serving the frum community advertising the sales which will be offered at each location.
As the Bochurim gear up for this traveling Seforim Sale, the mission to bring the teachings of Chassidus to the doorstep of each community continues to thrive, ensuring that the light of Yud Tes Kislev shines brightly through the pages of the cherished Seforim.
