Nearly one thousand Yeshiva students from across Eretz Yisroel were tested on the first half of Sefer HaTanya which they have learned over the past few months as part of Lev Loda’as Chassidus study program.
After a full year of shiurim and tests taking place exclusively on zoom and by phone, the students finally returned to in-person shiurim and testing in yeshivos in Yerushalayim and Bnei Brak.
The test, organized by the Lev Loda’as–Tiferes Shimshon Chassidus study program, is for talmidei haYeshivos of all stripes and was on the first 25 perokim of Tanya. The next test will take place in the month of Av on the second half on perokim 26-53.
Prior to the tests, Rabbi Efraim Dmichovsky, mashpia in Tomchei Tmimim Kfar Chabad, gave a two and a half hour shiur reviewing all the material on the test.
Rabbi Moshe Shilat, Director of Toras Chabad L’Bnei HaYeshivos, spoke to the participants about the importance of studying all 53 chapters of Tanya, and encouraged them to continue delving deeper into the study of Chassidus.
“This program has brought about real and fundamental change within talmidei hayeshivos and yungeleit in kolel,” Rabbi Shilat said. “The finest of the yeshiva world takes part in our study program and receives the life-changing guidance that Chassidus provides.”
Lev Loda’as–Tiferes Shimshon Shimshon Chassidus study program is generositly sponsored by Rabbi Dovid Fischer, in memory of his father
