A large-scale Mivtza Matzah campaign is currently underway to distribute thousands of matzah sets to Yidden across Brooklyn, providing thousands of Brooklyn families with handmade Shemura Matzah as the Rebbe requested.

“Lamternshtik” has organized hundreds of routes and addresses to deliver Matzah to nearly 6,000 families. Buses filled with seminary, high school, and elementary school students from Crown Heights have already begun their deliveries, with dozens of local families joining in the effort.

This unprecedented Mivtza Matzah initiative is a collaborative effort with Chabad Outreach of Sheepshead Bay, directed by Rabbi Yitzchok Schwartz, and is conducted under the auspices of Rabbi Shlomo Z. Cohen of Chabad Sheepshead Bay.
