Honoring the Chag Hageula 13 Tammuz, Ohr Menachem parents gathered for a special Hakhel and Farbrengen. This momentous gathering was also an opportunity to launch an exciting campaign propelling the success of the Cheder forward.

The event was emceed by the Menahel Rabbi Mendel Yusewitz who shared a story. At a famous farbrengen, the Frierdiker Rebbe turned to the famed Chossid Reb Itche Der Masmid a”h, (known to be a beinuni of Tanya) and said, “Reb Itche, if you will invest in tashba”r (tinokos shel beis rabban), I consider you ‘mine’! Otherwise, you will still be the great known personality “Reb Itche”, however not ‘mine’…”, stressing that we will now all have the opportunity to be the objective of the baal hasimcha’s mesirus nefesh and be ..“mine”!

Then all watched together a special video presentation depicting the Day-to-Day at Cheder, produced by Rabbi Avrohom Rainitz and Berl Groner.

Then Rabbi Zalman Goldstein invigorated the crowd and presented how we can make this vision a reality.

Rabbi Mendel Hacohen Hendel then thanked all parents for being such amazing partners, and looking forward to such an amazing future.

Rabbi Yisroel Goldstein represented the parents and turned with an emotional plea: “We are lucky that the cheder is putting this event together! Had they not, we would gather together to build such a dream mossad, and need to fundraise ourselves! This is our life, our children, our vision!”

The event was produced alongside Rabbi Rainitz, by Rabbi Shlomi Frishman, Reb Levi Hilel, and Mrs. R Solomon.

All left inspired and passionate to make the Rebbe’s dream for chinuch al taharas hakodesh – a reality, and available to so many more children bezras Hashem.
