Following much toiling in Limud Hatorah, memorizing and being tested, a select group of Cheder Ohr Menachem Talmidim joined together this Sunday in an elegantly Eshel hall on Kingston to celebrate and view the Chidon Sefer Hamitzvos International Championship for 5782.

The event was led by Chidon Tzivos Hashem coordinator and Cheder Ohr Menachem Vice-Principal Rabbi Yossi Overlander who oversees the success of every talmid in the chidon program.

The Menahel Rabbi Menachem Mendel Yusewitz opened the event. After congratulating the boys who have invested so much in learning Sefer Hamitzvos, he expressed special thanks on behalf of the parents and Talmidim to Rabbi Overlander who cared, followed through, and ensured the success of every Talmid!

As the boys enjoyed a special Seudas Mitzva with pizza and more, Talmidim cheered their Chaveirim from cheder and the world over in their Yedias Hatorah. Each received their personalized plaques, medals and prizes. Many fathers joined the Simcha with their sons.

The Yeshiva then wished a special Mazal Tov to the Kita Hey representative of the cheder HaTomin Yosef Yechiel Michel Piekarski on taking 1st place of all Kitos Hey worldwide and receiving the gold cup!
