Oholei Yosef Yitzchok Lubavitch has lit a spark within the Crown Heights community; now, it is time to fuel the flame for the upcoming year.

OYYL has been servicing the Crown Heights community for the past 11 years, offering authentic Jewish and Chassidic education for children, regardless of their socio-economic background. Driven by the Rebbe’s ideal of “Chinuch Al Taharas Hakodesh,” OYYL has imbued its 200 alumni and aspires to infuse its current students with a love and passion for Yiddishkeit and Chassidus.

Yet, OYYL is not just another school offering the same-old “cookie-cutter” education. OYYL combines a forward-thinking and progressively minded style of pedagogy with an absolute dedication to Chassidic values. Such methods include skill-based learning, holistic child growth perception, and new-age communication techniques.

The curriculum directors and staff of OYYL have tirelessly created a multisensory skill-based curriculum where the school’s preschool and elementary-aged students can individually experience and interact with what they are studying. The school prides itself on providing individualized student attention with smaller class sizes, creating a nurturing and supportive environment.

Students and parents alike have commented on the change that the school atmosphere has made. Children are excited to go to school; they feel loved and cared for by their teachers, connect with their peers, and walk away with grounded Midos Tovos and Torah knowledge. Parents feel that there are capable and well-trained educators personally guiding their children, in and out of school, and they have someone to turn to with any concerns.

But what you may not realize is that a great – and ever-improving – Chabad education does not happen on its own.

It relies on the generous hearts of people like YOU!

People who care about the next generation of Bnei Torah.

People who care about providing individualized attention for each child.

People who care about infusing children with a passion for Chassidus, the Rebbe, and Moshiach.
