Northwest Florida Mesivta Hosts Guests Farbrengers
Throughout the month of Kislev, Yeshivas Lubavitch Northwest Florida hosted guest farbrengers, including Rabbi Schneur Oirechman, shliach to Florida’s Panhandle, for Yud Kislev, and Rabbi Nachman Wilhelm, Dean of Machon Online Semicha, for Yud Tes Kislev.
Yeshivas Lubavitch Northwest Florida hosted Rabbi Nachman Wilhelm, a renowned Talmid Chocham and Dean of Machon Online Semicha, in honor of Yud-Tes Kislev. Rabbi Wilhelm gave the Talmidim a shiur on Chanuka, recorded his weekly parsha shiur that is distributed worldwide, and concluded his visit by leading the Yeshiva’s Yud-Tes Kislev farbrengen.
Rabbi Wilhelm’s visit is the highlight of what has so far been a Kislev nothing short of electric. The momentum began on Rosh Chodesh Kislev with a lively farbrengen celebrating the Rebbe’s miraculous recovery, setting the tone for a spiritually energizing month ahead.
The celebrations continued on Yud Kislev, when the Yeshiva was honored to host Rabbi Schneur Oirechman, Head shaliach to the Panhandle, who farbrenged together with his family. His stories, warmth, and sincerity created an atmosphere that left the bochurim uplifted and deeply connected to the day.
The following week, the Yeshiva joyously celebrated the dedication of its newly completed beautiful beis midrash. The dedication added a special dimension to the month’s inspiration, giving the bochurim a renewed sense of pride in their makom Torah.
On Yud-Daled Kislev, the bochurim gathered for a heartfelt farbrengen led by Rabbi Yoseph Wernick and Rabbi Baruch Lipovenko, focusing on hiskashrus and the Rebbe and Rebbetzin’s dedication and partnership in spreading Yiddishkeit.
All of this led to Yud-Tes Kislev, the Rosh HaShanah of Chassidus, and the farbrengen led by Rabbi Nachman Wilhelm. His words of chizuk, clarity, and encouragement resonated strongly with the bochurim. The event was also broadcast live to Online Semicha students worldwide, connecting the Yeshiva’s farbrengen far beyond the room.
Rabbi Wilhelm also expressed how deeply impressed he was by the high caliber of the students, their hasmada, and how much the bochurim genuinely enjoy and appreciate the Yeshiva. He commented that the shiur he delivered to our Mesivta bochurim was on a level he normally delivers to 19 and 20 year olds, and every single one of the Yeshiva’s bochurim were fully engaged, attentive, and focused.
Yeshivas Lubavitch Northwest Florida is run by Rabbi Yoseph Wernick, a very experienced and caring teacher with more than 30 years focused on chinuch, supported by a team of rabbinic advisors and business professionals. The Yeshiva is designed for bochurim who are serious learners, committed to personal growth, chassidishkeit, and meaningful progress in their learning.
Each farbrengen this month has added new energy, inspired hachlotos tovos, and strengthened the camaraderie among the bochurim. Yeshivas Lubavitch Northwest Florida continues to grow as a vibrant, chassidishe makom Torah, alive with learning, warmth, and genuine chayus.
