The Lebovic family dedicated a new Sefer Torah on Sunday in memory of their daughter Hadassah Lebovic who passed away this past summer at the age of 12.

Hadassah, who was a student of grade 6 at Beis Rivkah school in Crown Heights, was struck by a terrible illness and thousands around the world davened for her. Sadly, she passed away on Gimmel Tammuz this past year.

The new Torah, commissioned by her parents Zalman and Esther Lebovic, was completed on Sunday in their Crown Heights home, with friends and family writing the final letters. The Torah was then brought outside and paraded under a chuppa on the streets of Crown Heights, accompanied by joyous music and hundreds of dancing locals and guests.

The procession passed by Bais Rivkah school, where Hadassah had been a student, before continuing on to Aliya Shul, where hakafos were held, with the dancing continuing for hours.
