New Shluchim Will Work With the Elderly in Toledo, Ohio

Rabbi Dov Ber and Rivka (nee Scheiner) Fridman, along with their son Levi Yitzchok will be moving on Shlichus to Toledo, Ohio to establish classes, events and programs for Jewish senior citizens in the area.

With a population of 270,871, Toledo is the fourth-most populous city in the state of Ohio, after Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati. Toledo is also the 79th-largest city in the United States. It is the principal city of the Toledo metropolitan area, and serves as a major trade center for the Midwest.

The new shluchim were appointed by Rabbi Yossi and Raizel Shemtov, who have served as the directors of Bais Menachem Mendel – Chabad House of Toledo for the past three decades.

Currently, Chabad of Toledo has a host programs including a thriving Gan Yeladim Preschool, Camp Gan Israel, programs for the Russian community, adult education, women’s events, programs for children and families.

The new shluchim will focus on the older population, creating special programs for that demographic.
