Rabbi Laibel and Chaya Shemtov are moving to establish the first Chabad House in Traverse City, Michigan, servicing the Jews of all of Northern Michigan, which is approximately a three-hour radius.

Rabbi Laibel and Chaya Shemtov are moving in just one week to build the first Chabad House in Traverse City and provide the community with all their needs.

They will be servicing the Jews of all of Northern Michigan, which is approximately a three-hour radius.

As the largest city in Northern Michigan, Traverse City is a growing town that has a minimal Jewish infrastructure as of yet. It is home to college students, families, and retirees. Bordering Lake Michigan, it is also a popular vacation destination.

Help transform the city one home and one neshamah at a time.
