New Shluchim to Northwest New Jersey

Rabbi Levi and Chaya Naparstek (nee Schapiro), along with their two children, will be moving out in the coming weeks to build a new Chabad House in the Skylands region of NJ.

Under the auspices of shliach Rabbi Asher Herson, Director of Chabad of Northwest NJ, the new Shluchim will be establishing a Jewish presence in an area that has a minimal Jewish infrastructure as of yet.

The towns of Berkshire Valley, Wharton, and Netcong are just a few of the communities that the new Shluchim will be serving. The area is home to young families, retirees and vacationers who take advantage of the calming and low-pace atmosphere.

“The Holiday events we organized this past year were met with tremendous Hatzlacha. For some, it was their first time lighting a Menorah or hearing the Megillah. The thirst for more Yiddishkeit is tangible” says Rabbi Naparstek.

With the encouragement of Rabbi Moshe Herson, Head Shliach of New Jersey, Rabbi Naparstek and his wife are eager and excited to begin their Shlichus, reaching one Yid at time.
