Rabbi Yossi and Zelda Rodal (née Amar), along with their son Mendel were appointed by Rabbi Sholom Ber and Chanie Levitin as the new shluchim to Northeast Seattle, Washington. The area is home to a large Jewish population, and the Rodals are excited to connect with them and strengthen their connection to Yiddishkeit.

Rabbi Yossi, whose formative years were spent on Shlichus in Johannesburg, and Zelda, raised on Shlichus in Seine-et-Marne, France, are excited to dedicate their passion and experience to the thousands of Jews in the area.

The Rodals are going to lead Congregation Shaarei Tefillah Lubavitch and will cater to the Jews in the surrounding area, bringing fresh energy, new programming, Torah classes, and many initiatives to foster a vibrant community spirit.
