An estimated 65,000 Jews live in Melbourne, Australia, and many of them have yet to be exposed to the richness and beauty of Yiddishkeit. St Kilda, is a flourishing and vibrant community and a neighboring suburb to Melbourne’s Jewish community.
The Block’s were appointed shluchim by Rabbi Chaim Tzvi Groner and Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok HaKohen Gutnick.
The new Chabad center will be a warm haven for every Jew walking the busy streets of St Kilda- Shabbat meals full of meaning and connection. The joy of learning and bonding, and a listening ear in times of need.
