Rabbi Shmuly and Geula Gniwisch were recently appointed as shluchim to Houston, Texas, and will join the team at Torah Day School and Chabad Lubavitch Headquarters (CLC).

Rabbi Shmuly and Geula (nee Katzman) Gniwisch were recently appointed as shluchim to Houston, Texas.

Appointed by Texas head shluchim Rabbi Shimon and Chiena Lazaroff, and Rabbi Enan Francis, the Gniwisch family will join the ranks of shluchim working at Torah Day School and Chabad Lubavitch Headquarters (CLC) and community.

Although Houston is known as the world capital of space exploration, the shluchim are working to bring heaven down to earth, through Jewish education and outreach throughout the city.

With the arrival of Rabbi Shmuly and Geula, Houston will be a giant step closer to that goal.
