New Shluchim to Greater Mineola, Long Island
Rabbi Levi and Rivka Sudak (née Goldberg), together with their sons Mendel and Nachi, are moving on shlichus to the Greater Mineola area of Long Island.
Rabbi Levi and Rivka Sudak (née Goldberg), together with their sons Mendel and Nachi, are moving on shlichus to the Greater Mineola area of Long Island — and the opportunity is enormous.
Mineola and its surrounding villages host a mix of longtime residents and new families who have a real sense of community. The tree-lined streets and beautiful old homes contribute to the “everyone knows you” energy that the residents feel toward each other.
With NYU Langone expanding the hospital and offices all around the area, medical students, doctors and other hospital staff have joined the everyday face of the city. Mineola is also home to the Nassau County courts, with numerous Jewish lawyers whose law offices dot the Mineola landscape. They, and the many other young Jewish professionals commuting in daily, are eager for more Jewish connection and growth.
All this creates a natural setting for an active Jewish communal life. The Sudaks plan to host programs for the youth, bar/bat-mitzvah lessons, holiday celebrations, women’s events, young family functions, Torah classes, YJP programs, one-on-one learning sessions and more.
With the Rebbe’s vision guiding them, they are ready to build relationships, strengthen Jewish pride, and create a vibrant, welcoming Jewish presence.
Shlichus is a shared mission.
Please partner with them and help ignite the light in Greater Mineola.
