Rabbi Sholom and Leah Wilansky (nee Schanowitz) were appointed as shluchim to Aliante/North Las Vegas, one of Nevada’s fastest growing communities.
Born and raised on shlichus in New Jersey and Las Vegas respectively, Rabbi Sholom and Leah are looking forward to providing the community with all their Jewish needs, including Shabbat and holiday dinners, Shabbat services, children’s programs, classes and events.
A family-friendly neighborhood, Aliante is known for the tight-knit feeling among the residents. It is located on the outskirts of the city and has great views of the mountains, which add to the country-like atmosphere. In 2004, Aliante was the sixth top-selling master-planned community in the United States.
