Numerous new seforim expounding on the works of HaRav Levi Yitzchok Schneerson zt”l, father of the Rebbe, were brought to his Ohel in Alma Ata, on the day of his hilula.
Among them were the newest Sefer in ‘Yalkut Levi Yitzchok’ series, which was published just in time for the yahrzeit.
This newly-published sefer, fifth in a series entitled “Yalkut Levi Yitzchok al HaTorah”, includes insights and pirushim culled from throughout R’ Levi Yitzchok’s seforim, arranged according to pesukim and themes of the weekly sidra.
Compiled by Rabbi Dovid Dubov, shliach to Princeton, New Jersey, the sefer, as the volumes which precede it, “open up” and develops R’ Levi Yitzchok’s unique style in Torah to the reader.
Another sefer brought was the second volume of “Tipa Min Hayam,” a sefer with short ideas and saying culled from the seforim of the Rebbe’s fathers, and aptly named ‘A Drop from the See’. The first volume was published earlier this year, and the second volume, with a updated name of ‘Nitzuzei Levi Yitzchok’, was rushed to be finished in time for Chof Av.
The sefer did not make it back from the binder in order to catch a flight to Alma Ata, so an unbound copy was sent. The books arrived in Kehos in Kfar Chabad on the yom hilula.
In addition, Rabbi Chaim Shaul Brook, who traveled with the charter plane from New York, brought the newly published set of ‘Toras Menachem – Tiferes Levi Yitzchok‘, including the two volumes that have been recently published for the first time.
After presenting the seforim by the tziyon, they were left in the nearby room connected to the tziyon, so visitors could study from them when visiting the author’s Ohel.
