A celebration was held in Arad, Eretz Yisroel, for the dedication of a Sefer Torah in memory of the city’s first shluchim and the city’s rov, Rabbi Bentzion and Rebbetzin Sarah Lipskier AH.

The event took place on the first yahrzeit of Rebbetzin Lipskier’s passing and was led by their son-in-law, Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Mendelson, rov of the Anash community and member of Beis Din Rabbonei Chabad.

Hundreds of city residents and bochurim from Kiryat Gat and other yeshivos accompanied the sefer Torah in an impressive procession with joyous singing and dancing to the Anash shul. The procession was skillfully led by shliach Rabbi Nochum Goldschmid.

In attendance were the mayor, Mr. Yair Maayan, and rabbonim from all communities.
