New Resources Launched for the 46th Rambam Cycle
With the start of the 46th Rambam cycle, new resources have been released to support daily learning. Recent years have seen many shiurim and tools in many languages. Here is a selection of these new resources alongside some lesser-known existing ones to enhance your study.
As tens of thousands of Jews across the globe begin the 46th cycle of learning Rambam, following the Rebbe’s takkana, several new resources have been released in recent days to assist with daily learning.
In the 42 years since the Rebbe launched the takkana to learn Rambam, hundreds of thousands of Jews have taken up the Rebbe’s call and committed themselves to one of three learning cycles: three perokim a day, one perek a day, or Sefer HaMitzvos. As participation continues to grow, the need for accessible resources has become increasingly important. Many new shiurim and other learning tools have been made available in multiple languages in recent years.
Presented here are some of the new resources alongside a selection of lesser-known existing ones:
Sefaria has released the complete English translation of Rambam’s Mishneh Torah, translated by Eliyahu Touger (1986–2007), fully integrated into their digital library. Interconnected with the Tanach, Gemara, and other seforim, it allows learners to explore each halacha in full context. Topic tagging and Hebrew commentaries make study and research easier than ever.
A clever online app has been launched to help learners follow the Rambam daily, showing each day’s halacha and tracking progress in real time. Users can swipe to mark learned halachos, see what remains, and monitor their advancement in percentages. All data is stored locally on the device, with no server involved, and progress is saved for whenever they return. The app can also be saved to a phone for easy daily access.
Rabbi Yaakov Peretz Bluming, author of the acclaimed Rambam Ha’Aruch, has launched a new daily video series offering a concise, in-depth explanation of one halacha from Rambam each day.
Renowned and popular maggid shiur Rabbi Eliezer Nissan Rubin offers a daily shiur in Yiddish for both the three-perokim-a-day and one-perok-a-day cycles. Rabbi Shloime Shwartzberg also gives a daily shiur in English for both learning cycles. Both shiurim are available online here and can also be accessed by phone at 718-480-0200.
Rabbi Yacov Barber has launched a new daily Spotify podcast for those learning Three Perakim of Rambam each day.
Berel Marasow has released a tool to create and print custom bookmarks for the 46th Rambam cycle, allowing you to select your study track and adjust layout. The site also includes an alignment feature to ensure the front and back of the bookmark print perfectly.
Dozens of additional resources in multiple languages—including full-length shiurim, short videos, learning tools, and more—are available here
