The excited boys and girls of The Cheder of the Bay Area began their first day of school, eagerly welcoming their new principal, Rabbi Avraham Freeman, and in turn being warmly welcomed by him.
“Rabbi Freeman is a wonderful addition to our school,” Rabbi Raleigh Resnick, director of the Cheder, told Anash.org. “This is very exciting for the children and marks a new chapter for the school.”
The Cheder, run by Rabbi Resnick and his wife Fruma, is a bastion of energetic and uncompromising Chassidishe education. It serves many shluchim families in Northern California and has a growing enrollment of over 160 children.
