A new unique Kolel is opening on Eretz Yisroel for English-speakers, under the framework of Aguch of Eretz Yisroel. This kolel will welcome chassidishe yungeleit in or nearing their second year of marriage, who wish to live a life involved in hafatzos hamayanos.

One goal of the Kolel is to bring motivated Chabad couples to Eretz Yisroel, who will have a positive and dynamic influence on the international shlichus scene within Israel.

At a farbrengen in 5719, the Rebbe encouraged Chassidim to help with the chassidishe conquering of Eretz Yisroel:

“…those who traveled from the Diaspora and from Brooklyn to settle in Kfar Chabad and its surroundings, to fulfill the mission of the (Previous) Rebbe, should be happy with their lot. He gave that mission in the past, he is giving it now, and he will give it in the future. This is the most straightforward method, “the path of the king,” to conquer the Land of Israel through the Baal Shem Tov, the Alter Rebbe, and the other Rebbeim who filled their shoes. It is certain that Hashem will grant them health, success, and the necessary livelihood in the physical, literal sense.” (Sichos Kodesh 5719 p. 202)

The kolel will offer three tracks of additional learning in preparation for post-kolel life:

  • Rabbanut Heichel Shlomo
  • Shlichus preparation and opportunities,
  • Computer programming courses.

Shiurim and programs will be offered for the women as well, in a special community atmosphere ideal for young couples and families.

Housing and stipend will be provided for a one-year commitment. Only ten spots are available.
