Many mosdos in New Haven came together for a Yud Tes Kislev achdus farbrengen organized by Congregation Lubavitch, Shulounge and Ohel Yosef Yitzchok.
The event began with a siyum masechta by Rabbi Borenstien of Congregation Lubavitch. Rabbi Kalmenson, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Beis Dovid Shlomo, made a siyum of the Tanya. The community was honored with the guest speaker Rabbi Yosef Carlebach.
Rabbi Carlebach led an exceptionally inspiring Farbrengen, emphasizing the importance of Hiskashrus and shared many stories to illustrate what it means to be mekusher to a live Rebbe. Rabbi Carlebach spoke about how an event that occurred over 200 years ago is alive and growing in magnitude. The crowd was extremely excited and the clear message was delivered successfully.
