New Girls Overnight Camp to Open in Arizona

A new overnight camp will open this summer for girls in grades 5-9, directed by Rabbi Mendy and Tzipi Lipskier and located on beautiful grounds in Arizona White Mountains.

A new overnight camp will open this summer for girls in grades 5-9, located in the magnificent ponderosa pine forest of the White Mountains of Arizona.

Camp G.R.O.W. (Girls of the Rebbe Out West) was founded by Rabbi Mendy and Tzipi Lipskier, Shluchim to Fountain Hills in Arizona, who will direct also serves as the camp’s administrative directors.

“With the growing need for Chassidishe overnight camp experiences for our girls, camp G.R.O.W. was born,” the directors said. “G.R.O.W. promises to provide a safe, Chassidish, fun and wholesome camp experience.”

The camp will run from Tuesday, 18Av – July 27th until Monday, 15 Elul -August 23rd, 2021, and will be located in Heber, Arizona.

The camp’s Junior Division for girls in grades 5-7 will include activities such as sports, workshops, art, cooking, dance and weekly trips.

The Teen Camp will be for girls in grades 8 and 9, and will provide an uplifting Ruchnius experience that is complemented with an array of spectacular activities; from hiking to horseback riding, kayaking to climbing – all in the scenic mountains of Arizona.

The camp will operate under the guidance and advisement of Rabbi Zalman Levertov, Head Shliach of Arizona, and Rabbi Zalmy Kudan, Director of Tzeirei Hashluchim Winter Camp West Coast.
