New Girls’ High School is a Dream Comes True in Chicago
For years, Lubavitch Girls’ High School of Chicago dreamed of a building that would truly meet the needs of its students. That dream is now becoming a reality with the completion of a 30,000 square foot, state-of-the-art school, built from the ground up.

For years, Lubavitch Girls’ High School of Chicago dreamed of a building that would truly meet the needs of its students. That dream is now becoming a reality with the completion of a 30,000 square foot, state-of-the-art school, built from the ground up.
“It’s truly hard to believe that this dream has become a reality,” says Rabbi Baruch Hertz, Rav of the Chicago community and dean of the school. “In appreciation of everyone who is partnering to bring this to life, we plan to celebrate this momentous occasion with a grand opening in September, IYH.”
The new building offers a transformative educational setting, with sunlit classrooms, a spacious atrium, high ceilings, and a design that inspires calm, focus, and connection. Every square foot has been thoughtfully planned to provide an environment where students feel proud, uplifted, and ready to learn. The building includes 10 classrooms, library, chemistry, biology, stem and physics lab, art and pottery room, an outdoor terrace, and a dedicated room for Bnos Chabad. This building will foster a higher level of learning and growth for students in their Yiddishkeit and Chasiddishkeit.
Lubavitch Girls High School is thrilled to announce its “Build Their Future” campaign, launched to support the final stages of this monumental project and prepare for the school’s upcoming move into the building. The 36-hour fundraiser is now live, running from Sunday, May 18 through Monday, May 19, with a goal of $500,000 to help complete the final stage of construction and move-in.
