In honor of Yud Shevat, a time when Chassidim the world over focus on our connection with the Rebbe and strengthening our commitment to his holy work, A Chassidisher Derher presents a new WhatsApp message-series, consisting of short points from the Rebbe on the significance of writing to the Rebbe.
The act of writing to the Rebbe is seen as a cornerstone of hiskashrus. In addition to reporting to the Rebbe about one’s avoda and requesting brachos, the Rebbe also asserts that at times a person can connect with the Rebbe through writing almost as much as being in yechidus! And of course, the Rebbe also teaches us how to go about writing and what to do for brachos to be fulfilled:
“…As per your request, I will read the pan at the Ohel. It goes without saying, as the [Frierdiker] Rebbe taught, that a bracha is compared to rain, which is effective only after sowing…”
The ten-part series launches on Tuesday, 2 Shevat 5782, and will continue through Yud Shevat.
