14 new Police officers joining the 71st precinct in Crown Heights, have recently received training on the needs and concerns of the local Jewish community from Rabbi Yossi Rapp of ChabadAir.

14 new Police officers joining the 71st precinct in Crown Heights, have recently received training about the needs and concerns of the Jewish community from Rabbi Yossi Rapp of ChabadAir.

The new officers learned about the basics of Judaism, such as Shabbos, Yom Tov, 770, Chabad, what may and may not be done on Shabbos, and other important issues.

“We hope the presentation will give them the tools necessary to be successful in providing security for our community and dealing with our needs,” Rabbi Rapp told Anash.org
