Gan Yisroel of Crown Heights, now in its 10th year, will be opening a new program for boys finishing 6th, 7th, and 8th grade.
For nine years, Gan Yisroel of Crown Heights has been providing fun, productive summers for boys from all the different yeshivas in our community. They are now opening a new program for boys finishing 6th, 7th, and 8th grade.
The new program will combine helping in camp with their own fun and growth. Both boys who are in town for the entire summer and those who go away for some of it are able to join.
The boys will help in the camp for part of the day, each in a role that fits their talents and interests, such as sports, photography, biking, running a canteen, arts and crafts, etc. This will help them build leadership skills and earn some money. They will also earn bonuses for learning and davening.
They will also have their own trips, sports, activities, learning, and davening. Furthermore, there will be a camping trip, Shabbaton, and bonfires.
The cost of the program is a fraction of the cost of overnight camp. For more information about this program, or any of the other opportunities Gan Yisroel of Crown Heights has to offer, please contact Rabbi Zvi Lipchik, camp director, at 917-743-2268.
This year we will have an older division (going into 1st-6th grades) and younger division (3-5 year olds), and a playgroup (1-3 year olds).
Breakfast and lunch are provided, and transportation is available in Crown Heights and East Flatbush.
We are located at Ruland Road and Brooklyn Avenue.
To sign up, visit www.gych.org.
Jobs are available for males and females, teens and adults.
