Heichal Menachem of Boro Park is building a 4,000 square foot center, dedicated in memory of Reb Yoel Kahn, that will continue his life’s mission of spreading the teachings of Chassidus.
Among the extraordinary list of incredible accomplishments that Reb Yoel carried out throughout his life, the most notable was his commitment to Hafatzas HaMaayanos.
For over 40 years Reb Yoel was heavily invested in the Hafatza of Chassidus to the frum Jews who lived in the surrounding New York neighborhoods. Throughout the years, Reb Yoel taught over 2,000 shiurei Chassidus in Heichal Menachem in Boro Park, bringing thousands of Yidden closer to the Rebbe’s derech and exposing them to the Rebbe’s perspective.
The new center, named Bais Reb Yoel, will be located in the heart of Boro Park, on the corner of 16th avenue and 52nd street, and will include a library, learning centers, classrooms and media rooms, and will host shiurim and farbrengens. It has been expertly designed to create an ambiance in which everyone who enters its doors feels welcome, comfortable and open to learning and absorbing the life-changing lessons of Toras HaChassidus.
