Must I Buy Mezuzos with Alter Rebbe’s Ksav?

Harav Gedalya Oberlander is the rov of Heichal Menachem in Monsey, NY, and a member of Vaad Rabbonei Lubavitch, and he is known for his breadth of knowledge and clear psak. He will be answering contemporary shailos in a weekly column on Anash.org.

  1. It would seem from Rabbi Oberlanders words,that if a sofer
    did not write Alter Rebbes script properly it could make shailos of
    invalidation (psul).This is because some letters are difficult to write.
    This is true with any script.Its important to know with any script
    who is the sofer and if he was trained properly.
