Mrs. Vika Thaler, a resident of Yerushalayim and mother of Mrs. Raizel Landa of Crown Heights, passed away on Monday, 10 Adar, 5781.
Mrs. Vika Thaler of Yerushalayim, who survived the Holocaust and went on to build a large Chabad family, passed away on Monday, 10 Adar, 5781.
She was 93 years old.
Vika Thaler was a survivor of the Auschwitz concentration camp. She miraculously survived tree “selections” where she was sent to the “left”, but was saved at the last minute.
She is survived by her children, Rabbi Shlomo Gedalya Thaler – Yerushalayim, and Mrs. Raizel Landa – Crown Heights, and grandchildren.
The Levaya will take place in Israel.
Mrs. Raizel Landa will be sitting Shiva at her home at 715 Empire Blvd, Brooklyn NY 11213.
