Mrs. Sima Karp, a longtime resident of Crown Heights, passed away on Sunday, 21 Iyar, 5782.
She was 56 years old, and passed away after battling an illness.
Sima and her husband R’ Laibel Karp had an open home and everyone who walked through her door was made to feel at home. She was one of the founders of Ten Yad Hachnasa Kalla.
She is survived by her husband Leibel Karp, their children Mendel Karp – Crown Heights, Chaya Rodal – Crown Heights, Zevi Karp – Crown Heights, Shuzy Karp – Miami, Florida, Shaina Basha Langsam – Crown Heights, Rochel Karp – Crown Heights, Shneur Karp – Crown Heights and grandchildren.
She is also survived by her siblings Chana Gorowitz – Crown Heights, Zelig Rivkin – New Orleans, Yasef Rivkin – Karmiel Israel, and Rochel Leah Brook – Crown Heights.
The levaya will take place on Monday, passing 770 at 10:45 am.
The family will be sitting Shiva at 364 Crown Street.
