Mrs. Ruchie Stillman of Tarzana, CA, who served as the shlucha to UCLA, passed away on Shabbos, 29 Iyar, 5783.
Mrs. Ruchil Stillman of Tarzana, CA, who together with her husband Rabbi Yerachmiel Stillman served as the shluchim to UCLA, passed away on Shabbos, 29 Iyar, 5783.
She was 75 years old.
Mrs. Ruchie Stillman was born in the United States to her parents Rabbi Chaim Meir and Esther Bukiet. After her marriage to Rabbi Yerachmiel Stillman the couple moved on shlichus to Los Angeles, California where they directed the Jewish Student Center at UCLA.
She is survived by her daughter Shaina Friedman of Calabasas, California and grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Rabbi Yerachmiel Stillman in 5781.
She is also survived by her siblings Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Bukiet – Los Angeles, CA; Rabbi Levi Bukiet – Chicago, IL; Mrs. Chaya Bukiet – Crown Heights; Rabbi Alter Fishel Bukiet – Lexington, MA; Mrs. Sarah Tzirel Kramer – Montreal, Canada; and Rabbi Shneur Zalman Bukiet – Boca Raton, FL.
The Levaya will be held on Sunday, 4:00 PM at Mount Olive Cemetery, 7232 East Slauson Ave, Commerce, CA 90040.
