Mrs. Rochel Zamir, a writer and educator in Eretz Yisroel, who was the sister of Chassidic artist Zalman Kleinman, passed away.
Mrs. Rochel Zamir, a writer, and educator in Eretz Yisroel, passed away on Sunday, 22 Teves, 5781.
Mrs. Zamir served as an educator and administrator at Chabad kindergartens in Israel for many years. She also edited the book series Chagai Yisrael Umoadov.
She authored the book titled ‘Shlichut Chayay’ which tells the story of her life along with the many directives on education and guidance she received from the Rebbe.
She was the older sister of Chassidic artist and painter Zalman Kleinman.
She was predeceased by her husband Refoel Zamir, who passed away last year.
Her Levaya will be held today in Kfar Chabad with burial on Har Hazeisim.
