Mrs. Rivkah Veshedsky, a mother and grandmother from Crown Heights and a longtime Morah at Mosdos daycare center, passed away on Friday night.

Mrs. Rivkah Veshedsky, a mother and grandmother from Crown Heights, passed away on Friday night, 17 Tammuz, 5782.

She was 83.

Mrs. Rivkah Veshedsky was an only child born in Moscow to the famed Chosid and activist Aba and Pesha Pliskin.

She was a devoted mother and wife, her home was always open to the Rebbe’s guests. Her home-cooked meals and hospitality were legendary.

She was a long-time dedicated Morah at Mosdos daycare center.

She is survived by her children, Mussi Minsky – Crown Heights, Shaul Veshedsky – Kfar Chabad, Sarah Batt – Boro Park, Pinny Veshedsky, Shlomo Veshedsky, Reuven Veshedsky, and Pessie Veshedsky – all of Crown Heights, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Rabbi Shalom Ber and son Yosef A.H.

The family is requesting that friends refrain from sharing the news with Shaul Veshedsky.

The Levaya will pass 770 on Sunday at 2:00 P.M. and continue to Old Montefiore cemetery.

Shiva will be held at the Veshedsky home, 822 Eastern Parkway between Kingston and Albany, until Friday afternoon.

Three Minyanim are needed. 
Please make an effort to come to ensure all the availim have a minyin.

Mincha 8:00 PM.
Maariv Bizmanah.
