Mrs. Rivka Cohen of Nachlas Har Chabad passed away suddenly on the first day of Rosh Hashana 5783.

Mrs. Rivka Cohen of Nachlas Har Chabad, passed away suddenly on the first day of Rosh Hashana 5783.
Ms. Cohen directed and developed the Shafra and Pua organization in Nachala and made it one of the largest in Eretz Yisroel.
She was the wife of Rabbi Yechezkel Cohen, Rosh Kollel Levi Yitzchak in Nachlas Har Chabad.
She is the daughter of Rabbi Yosef Goldberg, who served as the Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim in Brunoy, France for over 40 years. Many of the recent roshei yeshiva in Lubavitch were his talmidim in either Samarkand or Brunoy.
On Rosh Hashanah morning, Mrs. Cohen told her husband before davening that she did not feel well and was going to rest. Sadly she did not wake up.
She is survived by her husband Rabbi Yechezkel Cohen of Nachalas Har Chabad and children Rabbi Moshe David Cohen – New York, Mrs. Chana Schwartz – Ramat Aviv, Mrs. Sarah Man – Montreal, Rabbi Yitzchak Cohen – Tel Aviv, Mrs. Rachel Kot – Riga, Mrs. Devorah Kleitman – Kfar Chabad, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Cohen -Tel Aviv, Mrs. Leah Goldmitz – Israel, Mrs. Bracha Pels – Ashkelon, and Rabbi Shneor Zalman Cohen – Bnei Brak.
She is also survived by her siblings Rabbi Yaakov Goldberg – Crown Heights, Mrs. Bluma Osdoba – Crown Heights, Rabbi Yitzchok Goldberg – Migdal Haemek, Mrs. Bracha Wolf – Chicago, IL and Mrs. Sara Klyne – Manchester, UK.
Rabbi Yaakov Goldberg will be sitting shiva at 1396 Carroll St through Tuesday early morning. There will be no minyanim in the house, with visiting hours between 12:00pm and 3:00pm, and 8:00pm and 10:00pm.
The Levaya took place today in Yerushalayim.
